Trail in fall

Wilderness Lodge is secluded in a forest-like setting.
A trail wanders through the property, and many of our guests
take advantage of the convenience of being able to hike on the property.

The silence here is only interrupted by the sound of the stream
that flows through the property, and birds singing…
maybe rain on the metal roof!
Native visitors are mini-size hummingbirds, to larger sized red tail hawks, and turkeys.

Wilderness Lodge is located in Spring Creek, and a scenic 13 mile drive from the quaint mountain town of
Hot Springs,
an area popular for hiking, rafting, fishing, exploring, and relaxing.

The Appalachian Trail passes through the town of Hot Springs,
and across the French Broad River.

(the 3rd oldest river in the world).

Asheville is 30 miles away, and offers many options to experience
more mountain culture. The closest airport is also located in Asheville.
